As disgusted as I am that the citizens of this state were dumb enough to elect the guy in the first place, I'm thrilled that so many have rallied against him.
Have a friend who is a teacher in Wisconsin, says that some of the pay changes due to benefit difference are around $500 a month. That's a $6000 a year pay cut. Out of a teacher's salary that's quite a chunk. She thinks the main objective is to destroy collective bargaining.
Walker has by now said as much. He's been given all the financial cuts he demands, and is unwilling to even talk about the collective bargaining stuff. It's purely an attempt to smash the power centers of the left.
